When Gustav and Lena Eriksson were involved in designing Hotell Kurbits, it was of great importance that the feeling of Dalarna would be in the walls. The facade is painted in the Swedish color Faluröd with white details around each window and windboard. The entrances and Restaurant Halster's roofs are made of green sedum. Inside the lobby, the walls are made of gray wood, as is the carpet. The fireplace is made of an old mill wheel that Gustav took from the family farm, and the paintings are painted by the Dala artist SlottsBarbro. On the second and third floor there is a carpet that Lena Eriksson has designed with inspiration from details in the pattern-rich dresses from Dalarna.
Hotell Kurbits offers the resort's best ski in-ski out location. With a reception, shop and restaurant in the same building, as well as close to the ski school and lift area, the stay could not be more comfortable. The hotel has 30 bookable apartments with four to six beds. During the winter season, a breakfast buffet is included and the accommodation is always packed with linen and departure cleaning. Restaurant Halster is open for both lunch and dinner during the winter season.
